Privacy policy

Early access: if you join the early-access list we store your first name, your email address, whether you consented to marketing email, the exact consent wording, and the date and time of signup. That is the only information EscapeFeed keeps on its own servers today.

Travel Profile: your departure airport, budget, party size and composition, trip length, approximate dates and flexibility, regions you want and regions you rule out, interests, and preferences such as all-inclusive, adults-only, family-friendly, stay quality and flight requirements.

Behavioural interactions: the trips you Save, Pass or tap More Like This on, kept separately from your stated Travel Profile.

Your Travel Profile, your saved trips and your interactions are stored in your own browser on your own device. They are not uploaded to our servers, and we cannot see them. Accounts are not available yet; when they are, this section will be updated before anything changes.

To rank travel recommendations for you, to keep your feed consistent when you return, to send you your early-access invitation, and — only if you explicitly opted in — to send product updates. We never add anyone to marketing email by default.

Marketing consent is a separate, unticked checkbox. We store the exact wording you agreed to and the time you agreed. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying to any email or writing to hello@escapefeed.com.

EscapeFeed uses your browser's local storage to remember your Travel Profile, your saved trips, your interactions and an anonymous device reference used only for internal attribution. We do not use advertising cookies or advertising trackers, and we do not currently run any third-party analytics product on this site. Clearing your browser storage erases your Travel Profile and saved trips.

The trips, prices, durations, ratings and match scores shown on this site are sample demonstration data. They are not live prices, not availability and not offers, and we do not monitor live fares or rates. Match scores are demonstrations of our ranking logic applied to that sample data.

EscapeFeed has no travel provider, booking or affiliate integrations today, and we claim no partnership that has not been agreed. When booking links are added, following one takes you to a third-party travel or booking partner whose own privacy policy and terms apply to whatever happens there. Any outbound click we record will carry only the travel item, the provider, the time, where in EscapeFeed the click happened and an anonymous reference — never your Travel Profile, your detailed preferences or your interaction history. Some of those links may in future earn EscapeFeed a commission; we will say so clearly when that is the case.

We don't sell personal data. We use service providers for hosting and database storage who process data on our instructions.

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@escapefeed.com and we'll action it. Data held only in your browser can be removed by you at any time by clearing your site storage.
